Each child hatches a unique pet, and the pet grows every time the child practises. Pawa runs in the browser, so there is no app to download, and it is operated by TACHYS X SDN. How does Pawa work?
A child answers short practice questions, and the pet they hatched grows each time they practise. The idea is simple: practising is how the child grows the pet.
Every pet is generated to be unique, so no two are alike. The pet itself does not punish the child: a tired pet costs no progress, and the pet never blames the child or threatens to leave.
Pawa is a web app. It works in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer and can be added to the home screen like an ordinary app, so there is nothing to install.
What ages and subjects does Pawa cover?
Pawa covers Prasekolah (about ages 4 to 6) and Tahun 1 to Tahun 3 (about ages 7 to 9). There are two modes: Ceria for Prasekolah, and Darjah for Tahun 1 to 3, with questions in Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu, English and Science.
Malaysian schools call the primary years Tahun 1 to Tahun 6 under KSSR. Darjah is the older word for the same years and still appears as a mode name inside Pawa. Tahun 1 and Darjah 1 mean the same thing.
What is free in Pawa, and what costs money?
A child can hatch a pet and try 3 questions with no signup and no credit card. After that, a free account unlocks 2 full practice sets, or 4 for Prasekolah, whose sets have 5 questions instead of 10. That allowance is given once and does not reset daily.
Unlimited practice sets need Premium, which also includes new content every week. A free account gets one free baby Kad Pet AI card, a portrait of the child’s own pet; cards at later stages are for Pawa customers.

Which curriculum does Pawa follow?
Pawa follows KSSR and its DSKP standards for Tahun 1 to Tahun 3, and maps Prasekolah activities to KSPK skills, covering part of KSPK rather than all of it. Each Tahun 1 to 3 question is tagged to the learning standard it tests, and Pawa has more than 11,000 practice questions across the four subjects.
Two details matter. First, KSPK here means the 2017 edition: KPM introduced Kurikulum Prasekolah 2026 from January 2026 to replace it, and Pawa’s mapping uses the 2017 one. Second, alignment is not approval: Pawa has no endorsement from the Ministry of Education Malaysia. Kurikulum Prasekolah 2026 is the preschool stage of KP2027, the new curriculum KPM is phasing in, and Tahun 1 follows in 2027.
Is Pawa safe for children?
In Pawa there are no ads, no in-game purchases and no chatting with strangers.
The Kad Pet AI card is made from the pet, never from a photo of the child, and the child types nothing into it. The privacy policy and terms of use are on the Pawa site.
What is Pawa not?
Pawa is not a tutoring marketplace, because there are no human tutors in it. It is not a homework helper, and it is not an ad-supported kids app.
It is also not a printable worksheet and does not replace practising handwriting with a pencil. It covers Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu, English and Science, and does not cover Pendidikan Islam.
